I'm betting that Johnson will be a good swingman in the pros.

He's almost too tall for Guard.

Dexter McCluster is interesting, and imho what the offense needs, a all around play maker.

160pds is just too light, even he bulked up to say 170ish, he is still to small.

I like McCluster. Been comparing him to Sproles for a while.

    How? He's so soft.

Don't like his frame Nabo, tall, spindly legs, thin through the torso, he looks like a Wr playing Rb.

McCluster is a interesting player. I wonder how fast he really is.

    James is listed as 6'0" 208, 4.55.

We'll see how he measures at the combine with real standards.

I like the kid. I don't believe he's as soft as advertised, and I believe he translates better to the pros than guys who have better "cred."

But hey, let's face it - if you need a RB in this draft, CJ Spiller is the prize. He is THE GOODS - size, speed, the total package. A game-changer.

Problem is, we need SO much else - Linebackers, big-play WR, maybe NT...Spiller is for the rich.

We are the middle class, still renting...wouldn't do to have a Bentley in the driveway like that.

The ONLY thing that is semi-interesting about Javarris James is his instinct for the cutback lane. And I've watched a sh-t ton of Canes football. Berry's the most talented RB on that roster, but anyway back to James I think he might be able to be some kind of part timer in one of thoze zone-in/zone-out running attacks but that's about it.

Honestly I think the thing that is helping Riley Cooper out is a few times this year he's been able to put his straight up wheels on display against some other SEC defenders that we know to be fast, and good ole Riley has some underrated jets. He can run a lot faster than folks had assumed a year ago.

As for McCluster, I've never seen a guy that can think, cut, and accelerate that quickly as a ball carrier. He's amazing. He can make three moves before a normal NFL sized defender can make one. That Tennessee game...

They bring up a great name in Daryl Washington. Monstrous and physical, with wheels. Count him among the guys I would target if I were Miami.

how about 5'7 170lb WR, Brandon Banks, from Kansas St? He's one of the top burners this draft right behind Ford possibly? 4.25 fortyish. :dunno:
