Even though it says ATM I hope you realize by the big and little letters that it isn't supposed to be read that way....
Nobody has said Tannehill doesn't deserve most of the blame. However, several people, including Philbin, Keith Sims, and Marino have said the OL can do things to help him. As for Sherman, he never said Tanne deserves all the blame. You better read it again. Apparently you did not read this link, or have your mind made up already and don't want to confuse things by considering other facts. http://www.itsalloverfatman.com/broncos/entry/a-second-helping-of-tipped-passes-in-the-no-huddle Here is what Sherman said. You say you totally agree with him so I guess you agree with this too:
LOL no where in there does Sherman point to the OL becoming magicians and I do not care what Keith Sims says. He played in the day when Olineman weighed 250 and d lineman were around the same, maybe lighter. My point being ? Tannehill had a problem with batted passes when in college and his coaches were Zack Taylor and Mike Sherman. Tannehill has a problem with batted passes now and his coaches ? Zach Taylor and Mike Sherman. This cannot be coached out, he has to find a way around it on his own. So no, I do not agree on people thinking our Oline can magically react in a half a heart beat when they do not have a clue when a Dlineman is going in the air. There are some things every player has to do on his own that simply cannot be coached. Apparently this is the case as Tannehill got batted down again today in our own practice.
Not that I remember In Green Bay he had Farve While in Houston Matt Shaub was the QB at ATM he had Mcgee, Johnson and Tannehill Out of the 3 in college only Tannehill had batted down balls on a regular game to game basis. 19 in 2011.
LOL. Sims weighed between 310 and 320 when he played. His pal Richmond Webb also was well over 300 lbs. He was drafted in 1990, not 1970. LOL. Many OL were over 300 lbs in the 1990s. Sherman may not have commented on things the OL could do, but Philbin and Marino did, as well as Sims. I find it amusing that you are so full of yourself that you claim to know more about playing OL than a guy like Sims, who did it at a high level for 11 years in the NFL.
