Yes, it can and DOES kill. A friend of mine called me about a half-hour ago to tell me that his mother-in-law has passed and she never smoked a cigarette. At first I felt sad, and I still do, but now I also feel anger when I've thought of the times in just the past week when I see disgusting jerks who smoke where it's prohibited by clearly posted signage.
Second hand smoke isn't the only way to get lung cancer by the way. I'm assuming lung cancer was what killer her?
