Haven't seen a thread yet, and maybe he doesn't deserve his own thread, but after being much maligned by the fan base, props are in order for today. He made a couple of clutch plays and really locked down Terell Owens for much of the game. And he FINALLY got his first career regular season INT, and it couldn't have come at a better time. So, for today at least, mad props to Sean Smith.

Smith was lockdown today as CK said in his 10 things thread. Jason Allen shouldn't start a game the rest of the year unless there's an injury.

Our secondary would be looking real nice had Will Allen not been put on the IR, but props to Sean Smith for showing up today. Looking forward to seeing him and Vontae keep it up.

He had a great game, no doubt. Hopefully he's turned the corner and gotten over this little slump, and has gotten refocused on his game. Sparano has said today in his PC that he was impressed with Smith's work jamming TO at the line. We've all seen that his tackling has improved as well, so its seeming more like he's getting more physical with his play, which is what we needed. He almost had 2 INT's today really, the diving play on that pass to TO was a nice play, and close to an INT. Hopefully he can play like this weekly.

Good for SS24, though as a whole, I stopped counting all of the dropped interceptions by our secondary when it reached 4 of them.
