You mean...good defense that is opportunisitc, and a strong running game, wins playoff games? Didn't the jest use that to leverage their crappy Qb to 2 AFC Title games?
That Packers game last week was the greatest thing that could have happened to the Lions.... Offensively they got into a rhythm. Sure they lost, and their D looked shaky, but it was good for the O.
That is my blueprint for the Phins in 2012 Deej, add weapons at Wr, fix RT/LG, and play ground and pound with MMoore.
Nah, this is a lot like a CFL gm, teams move up and down the field, but the team that makes the tackles when they count wins the thing, lots of yds, but few pts.
Do take not though, all of the passing yds Stafford and Brees have racked up, 24 pts, total Lions stiffened inside the 20, Saints are doing a good job in coverage and tackling.
Lions have the lead at halftime, but should be up by 47 points... 8 dropped INT's and playing against the refs too.
Foster's measurable skillet is pretty average (size/speed). What sets him apart is his reads in that zone blocking system. I don't think he had that in college and even if he did people would have questioned whether he would succeed against better players.
