I know people haven't been estatic with Groves but just noticed that Satele didn't crack the starting lineup in Oakland. 'Raiders coach Tom Cable said that Chris Morris would be the starting center against the Chargers with Samson Satele heading to the bench." http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/09/05/justin-miller-among-22-raiders-cuts/
I think we can talk about things that pertain to the Phins. It's interesting to see how the transaction is turning out.
So updates on Indukwe and Alleman can go in this forum? I wasn't trying to be a dick. There are a lot of ex-dolphins out there is all. What are the rules then for posting about ex-phins?
I think because it was a recent move, it's fine. Also if it were news about someone who was here for a long time....ZT, Pat Surtain....Madison...so on, it would also be fine.
I still think the guy can play, and being benched in Oakland has no effect of my opinion of any player there. What an incompetent mess that team is. Which is not to say trading him was or was not a mistake, just saying, we are talking about Oakland here. Its a pretty good bet that anything they do up there is wrong.
i liked satele. but im glad our regime acted on their instincts, rather than play with someone who didnt fit their scheme. lets hope that grove is worth the $. Ronnie all day!!!
At this juncture, I wouldn't say Grove is either. To be honest, from the 4 preseason games, he has probably struggled more than any other prejectd starters, and I don't think its even close. The fact we did indeed end up with Hartline and Gardner does indeed improve the deal, A LOT, but Grove better improve if we are going to succeed
