San Francisco 49ers Press Conference

Today, the San Francisco 49ers announced that they have hired alen1 to be their General Manager. Alen1 will oversee all pro and college scouting and will have say in the coaching staff.

The 49ers are coming off another disappointing season, finishing 6-10 and third in the division.

Many expect a lot of changes this season in the 49ers organization and now here is alen1 to answer some questions.

John Clayton: "Hello alen, John Clayton of ESPN here."

John Clayton: "Do you feel there is a lot of work ahead of you?"

Alen1: "Yes."

John Clayton: "Where will you go with the 10 draft picks in the 2011 NFL Draft?"

Alen1: "We will evaluate the roster and review all options. We will do what's best for the team."

Adam Schefter: "Adam Schefter here, Alen, what do you think about your quarterback situation? Will Alex Smith be back?"

Alen1: "I think we will evaluate and go from there. Alex Smith will also be evaluated."
