Sam Eguavoen has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. No players have been added to the roster to fill their spots at this time.

Eguavoen played in every game for Miami last season after making the team as an undrafted free agent. He had 42 tackles, 3.5 sacks and a fumble recovery. He’ll be eligible to return to the active roster after going through the testing protocols associated with the list, which is for players who have tested positive for COVID-19 or been in close contact with an infected person.

Well that stinks. I hope that doesn't mean a bunch of others are going to follow.

    No Whammy!

Well, remember that there's around a 30% false positive in testing AND players are all tested daily. So whenever a player gets pulled for COVID, there's a very good chance they're not even "sick" yet...if they get sick at all.

They're also doing things right with excellent next-gen ventilation and UV lighting throughout the facilities, so the chances of it spreading there is a heck of a lot less than at WalMart or a local restaurant. It's believed that the Fins have the "safest" facility in the league thanks to a start-up Ross is working with that installed all the tech...I have no idea if that's true or not but it's certainly a big positive on paper.

Damn. With Biegel being out, we could really use him. It's also time for some people to get Van Ginkeled.

    For what it’s worth...

My mother in law tested positive for COVID-19. She was asymptotic. The nursing home staff tested her again a week later and she tested negative. She was tested again another week later and again tested negative.

    False positive? I don’t know
No underlying health issues other than age and her body beat it with no symptoms? I don’t know

I just think quarantine protocols need to be followed along with any symptomatic treatments, if any are present and he’ll be just fine.

Young, healthy, athletic...he’ll be just fine

Or he came into contact with someone who was diagnosed with it (contact tracing). They don't say which it is.
