I swear, henning has been sabotaging the offense all season long. I'm serious. Think about it. I have yet to hear him say he was retiring after this season. So let's say that POS parcells told him there'll be another job waiting as soon as he(parcells) finds another sucker owner. If our offense was respectable this year then it would be a little difficult to pry henning from Miami. But if they were to destroy the team's season from within they won't look like villains. You can't say parcells is above such tactics.
You could certainly make a case that Henning and Sparano were trying to get fired on that last drive.
It popped my head a long time ago that Henning would not actually game plan for the weeks opponents, and that he would put all his play calls in a top-hat, and pull them out at random, and radio them down to the field. Then it dawned on me that was a ludicrious idea. After the WC call at the end of the game, i might have to revisit my theory.
