Colin Cowherd apparently said that this story will break soon.And its a rumor that has found life in SEC forums. I find it a suspicious coincidence that this rumor is creeping its head just before the SEC title game. Call me an unbeliever but given our history with Saban I thought I would throw it out there . The rumor is that Auburn is willing to part with 36 to 40 million dollars for 6 years. If you find any confirmation please post the links
If Saban leave Alabama it won't be for any other team in the SEC IMO. I think he has a serious shot at being the head coach of Notre Dame if that job opens up next year.

Even though we know Saban cant be trusted he is a good college coach and leaves the teams in better condition. LSU won another championship after he left and Bama will be a tough team to beat next year even if he does leave Even a two year stint at ND would leave it a better team IMO
I'm better. I don't want him at Auburn. And he'd probably bring us a national championship if he stayed long enough. I don't want him. That, and I don't believe the rumors. Just like I didn't believe them when he was the Dolphins coach. I would enjoy it if he left for Notre Dame, however... it would just be so funny here in Alabama, I can't even tell you. Pipe dreams for me, though.
That was my thought too.I didnt believe the rumors until the end I take people at face value until they prove otherwise
Mike and Mike tore him to shreds this morning on their show about how he criticized the 3 SEC schools for lack of loyalty in firing their coaches. They played the famous audio of him saying he would not be the coach at Alabama.
It would be great if he left alabama. I remember some of their alumni coming on here, talking about how bitter dolphin fans were.................. Would be nice for them to see how it feels
