Well. I know the Jags have 2 1st round picks. And have been looking for a big back to team with newly acquired Steve Slaton. The Jaguars are looking to bring some Thunder and Lightning to North Florida.
just a tad ironic that the Eagles move one of their first rounders after I posted this... Eagles have the 33rd pick and it wouldn't take much to move that into the first round.
SEAHAWKS DENY ANY RUMORS The Seahawks have zero interest in an injury-prone tailback. Ronnie Brown is "very talented" but "not what we are looking for", said GM alen1.
In an interview from the golf course, newly hired Bucs offensive coordinator Norv Turner briefly commented on the upcoming free agency period, noting that "there's a lot of franchised talent out there, especially at the wide receiver position. If I'm a GM and I need a WR, I have to think long and hard about making that kind of move." When specifically asked about Ronnie Brown, a player he was familiar with, Turner had this to say. "Ronnie's a great player. LT level even, no doubt one of the best in the NFL. But he can't stay healthy." When asked if the Bucs would inquire about the Wildcat star, Turner remained noncommittal. "That's not for me to decide. I feel like we've already got several good running backs on the roster in Kevin Smith and Derrick Ward. I'm excited to see what they bring to the table."
