Unsung heroes really. Called every offside and false start...no questionable calls....If only we could get this group every week....and in Foxborough....
Heh, chargers fans are pretty pissed off about the taunting call. I figure Keenan had to have said something pretty nasty to get that flag.
But he probably was taunting... Not like that NE were it was ghost PI (O and D) city on us and illegal batting? (to this day...wtf!?)
The taunting call was because he got up in the guy's face while he was on the ground...it could have just as easily been unsportsman-like conduct. Sure, it's not a common penalty but it certainly was earned.
i counted 5 clear off sides calls that they missed... i really dont know how you miss off sides but they did
That always happens and I just consider it part of the game now. I'm just glad there weren't any phantom PI calls (on O & D) or we cause fumbles and the refs not give the ball back to the other team but place the 30yards up field or right on the goal line.
It was very pleased with the refs. Nobody can call a perfect game but it was obvious that the refs didn't hate us
I'm scared as hell to see who will be officiating the Pats and Steelers game, I hate Gene Steratore still till this day for giving the Steelers their fumble back in the endzone when we clearly recovered it.
I remember last year Tannehill got bailed out of a horrible INT in the Seattle game by a questionable Roughing the Passer call. Yesterday's Roughing the Passer call after Hartline smeared butter on his gloves at the end zone was more than warranted. 2 full steps after Tannehill threw the ball.
