Dude...Sparano is not going to say they suck...they just got here..

To me, we need a vet OLB who can contribute, play the Elephant, and show the youngin's how to run Nolan's system..ie..AD...

    Wake:

And he can play DE, but the youngin's like Misi and Edds to grasp a complex system like Nolan's AND play everything from DE to DT to OLB...how is that going to happen?

We need some gray in some beards this year Killahp.

Miami's incoming D is going to put the 1974 Steelers to shame.

Either way I'm reminded of the movie "Zoolander" when they're trying to get the files out of the computer...Could'nt find the gif for it but maybe this is how they felt on the way to the facility...

I see that and think "age and treachery beat youth and enthusiasm everytime"

who you have in mind? maybe Adalius Thomas?

Edds will play inside on 3rd down you won't see him at DE, DT or OLB man

4-3 over and under OLB's mirror in that nolan hybrid. expect misi to move around as an OLB. wake puts his hand on the ground in 4-3. unless he has improved on the edge. we are loaded up front.

    I'm not impressed!

My first day in college football was started with a mandatory 5AM -6:30AM workout before a full practice.

They need to step it up!

This doesn't speak to their intelligence. Hopefully the projector or dvd player or whatever was locked or something. If they can't figure out how to watch film, they might not be able to dissect Tom Brady either. Oh, and where the hell was Jared Odrick?

I don't think it's as simple as a regular DVD player. I imagine there's a bit more to it.

Remember Chad Henne bought some $10,000 system or something before the draft so he could watch the game tapes during the offseason? Can't find the article but it makes me believe this is hardly a Phillips DVD player.

As for this, I guess it's part of the reason the team was so keen on drafting Captains. Great work ethic.

The kids were probably so excited, they couldn't sleep, came in early, cause it was better then sitting around the kitchen table starring at the walls.....

Well Folks, we threw the dice and got some top shelf college boys to fill needed positions. Now we will have to see what they can do on the next level.
But people should curb their enthusiasm and expectations a bit because the Zack Thomas's are rare and realistically the gang is going to need time to learn and develop their own skills.

"Age and treachery" does have it's advantages and our young guns will need enough time to figure out how to deal with it.

But considering the level of talent of the players they are taking over for, it shouldn't take long to be on that level. And that level surprisingly enough bid us as contenders.

These kids could end up being great but it is very rare to happen from day one. They will need to be in the thick of it to really understand and develop the skills that they will need to be great players.....and we shouldn't lose sight of that.

But we should be excited at the potential gems we've added to our team this off season......and considering what we did with last years rookies and released backups at best (exclu. JT)
we should be in the thick of it again.......and possibly scarry 2011....

and then theres the dream.....we picked up 3 - 4 Zack Thomas's............... ya right

Never would have thought you are that short sighted Padre...develop players = Super Bowl trips...draft for what you need to take a minor step toward winning this year = Dave Wannstedt Draft Philosophy....also known as Jamar Fletcher...Eddie F-ing Moore...etc

They really did it....Revampage of the entire freakin linebacking unit....lol, 5 NEW LINEBACKERS!!..4 new starters, plus depth...what a draft..

some of us were speaking consistently that we needed to walk away from the draft with 4 new linebackers, I did'nt think we would really do it.., hell we walked out with 5 including Dobbins, who I have replacing Crowder.

Probably a 30 disk, remote operated gizmo with so many features on it it requires a trained operator to run the thing. Believe me, my damned single disk remote is a pita.
