Brown on schedule with rehab Sat, 15 Mar 2008 23:33:42 -0700 Harvey Fialkov, of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, reports Miami Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown (knee) is on schedule with his rehabilitation from a torn right ACL and the team is confident he will be ready for the start of the 2008 NFL season. Brown's agent, Todd E. France, said, "He's started running a while ago, is lifting weights, is in great spirits and on track. We don't see any obstacles in our way. … He's got the drive to be ready." KFFL.COM Very happy to hear the part in bold. Oh yeah and to top it off.... http://youtube.com/watch?v=hPMVEXHKefE&feature=related
I can't see the attachments, but I'll try some answers. Ronnie Brown... ...is GREAT! ...is AWESOME! Or AUsome! (if you prefer) ...is a stud! How'm I doing so far?
ohhh i cant wait either! hopefully he comes back as the same player he was when he went down. just give him the ball, let him plow through guys like he was and we'll easily be well on our way to winning games.
I would not mind a bit if the team gave him a lot of time to recover, and not even rushed to get him a lot of reps this year. Some good game time, yes, but recovery is the better part of valor in a year which is obviously going to be rebuilding and retooling the O-line and the offense in general. Ride Ricky and LoBook for the most part, and get as much out of Ricky as we can, and perhaps, even generate some interest in some form of trade for him. Maybe we can get a 2nd our of Minnesota. But, given the bulk of a year to get ready, and to get in superb shape, and hopefully, re-signed, we could be a lot better in 2009 than in 2008.
What I love and respect about him is he doesn't whine about him being on a losing team or he doesn't come out and show his frustrations in PC's. He goes out there and does what he needs to do. Unfortunately his hopes aren't always on the positive end but we all know that he is putting his heart in that ****.
A permanent grounding is definitely in order here! Ronnie is my favorite player on the team (apologies to my son Josh) and I just pray he comes back as strong as he was before the injury. He was on his way to putting himself on a level with maybe even LT, I know that's premature, but I really feel Ronnie can be great in this league if we can just get a good OL in front of him, he's got the power, the speed, the cutting ability, and catches passes so well he can really dominate a game IMHO if given the chance.
ronnie is also my favorite player on the dolphins, dont worry jason is eating again so he wont see this esepcially since zach is gone i said on the other forums that ronnie was a caged beast waiting to break out and he showed himself last year, and he got injured busting his *** to make a play got a love this guys heart and determination
Thabks for the video cant wait to see this guy back in action it is going to be great. Last time I heard he was due back at the beging of trianing camp . But I really dont want us to rush him back
Like everyone, I can't wait to see him back in action, but my guess is that he'll need to "work himself back" to 100%...that injury occurred late in the year...to be back to 100% it'll take a year...so he may be a little off to start the year, provided he has no setbacks, he'll be running strong come later in the season...
