How he feels: How Dolphins plan on using Ronnie: On conditioning/shape: http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/football/pro/dolphins/sfl-ronnie0726,0,7957814.story?track=rss
A little troubling but I'm sure its the same for any other athlete coming off this injury as it would be for any of us as well. It'll take time but he'll get more and more comfortable and be back (at least I'm optimistic).
I think thats the toughest part of sports especially football, especially coming back fram an injury. Its getting past the mental hesitations that will follow you as a result. I think if ronnie feels healthy, as he said... getting over the mental part of the injury is the biggest part. I think getting him in there, running more, making more cuts, getting more involved overall , even in contact situations will help him build up that confidence to get over the mental part of the injury even more
meh.. nothing here except Ronnie being honest.. I have NO concern that he will be fine mentaly, none. He is WAY ahead of what we would call "normal" recovery from the injury.. given time.. NOTHING replaces time.. he will be fine. Having heard Sparano say several times that Ronnie would be brought along slowly.. like I said, I have no concerns.
he's gonna have to crush a few defenders before he gets his swagger back. he should have his TD run Vs Oakland on loop in his film study.
that dude is still wearing the bruise mark on his chest where Ronnie used him for traction after running him over.. if we were in Club, I would post the gif, it is a beautiful thing.
He just needs to get the **** knocked out of him a few times and he'll forget all about his knee and it will just be back to normal for him.
Ronnie will be fine and with Ricky he will not have to be the guy every play. He is in the best possible situation he could be in coming back from this injury. There is alot more RB talent on the team so he won't have to carry the load. As Ricky and Ronnie go, so will the Phins.
