I didn't know this about Ebert until now. My God, what a cursed pair, Siskel and Ebert! At least Siskel went relatively fast; Ebert's woes seem right out of the book of Job. What an amazing spirit, though.
The guy has a hell of a work ethic. I probably would have said screw it by now if I were him. But then again his job is to watch movies. Its probably a fun gig even watching the terrible ones just because you can rip them apart.
Update: Roger Ebert gets 'voice' grandkids can recognize http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100228/ap_en_mo/us_people_roger_ebert
You can be a total ******* and still get cancer. I sympathize with him in that he has a terrible illness that has claimed members of my own family, but it doesn't mean that he is not a total prick. Which he is.
