I was surprised he went Pro....He was an excellent 3 pt and FT shooter in college, but Like Wojo, don't think he was meant for the pros...t

I agree, as noted a couple weeks ago, but I must put a "yet" after that....he's close, and may and probably will be next year.

It's gonna depend on what team drafts him. I knew Reddick wasn't going to be any good, heck dook rarely has a good NBA player (Carlos Boozer is pretty good though). But JJ lived and died by the 3. He could never put the ball on the floor and penetrate. Nelson isn't a complete scrub but isn't living up to his hype.

The coaches and media say otherwise. Stats say otherwise as well.

Duhon, not doing the best either....I don't think we really had a good crop of NBA players since Danny Ferry's time...
Grant Hill I loved, but he spent too much time on bad teams and injured.

thats a freakin popularity contest. going back a few posts, reddick and nelson won the same awards. and if hansbrough is the best ncaa baller, why wouldnt he even be considered a lottery pick if he declared?

Reddick and Nelson were both the best COLLEGE players. There's a difference between the NBA and NCAA.

They are the underdog when they face the #1 ranked team in the tourney and #1 nationally. And I believe KU finished 4th nationally...;)

My office bracket loved the choke jobs by both UNC and UCLA though.

I love the choke job by LA. If for just one reason. Bill Plaschke on Around the horn is the biggest Los Angeles homer ever. I mean, it's cool to favor one area, but this guy is the biggest Pac-10 UCLA homer (and USC for football, notice a pattern?) ever. He's been dogging Calipari all year, said UCLA is going to win it all, even after their shaky last few weeks, etc. etc.

He even wrote an article calling Calipari a crap coach, just yesterday. Mariotti annoys me, but Plashcke is such a blind homer I'm surprised nobody on ATH calls him out on it. He looks like an idiot right now. UCLA had been extremely fortunate the last few weeks, and their luck just ran out.

well for what it's worth from a Duke fan, Hansbrough has a lot of potential and another year in college to develop it would be a big help for him, to play in the pros...right now, I think he would get eaten alive in the pros, those shots he makes that everyone is amazed at that are kind of off balance, or just thrown up shots, won't make it in the NBA, I don't think....more physical in the NBA too, so that would hurt those shots...t

If it wasn't for the Phins being a common team, there would be a bloodbath going on.

Perhaps, but then again, no need for a blood bath amongst reasonable, mature adults.
    Go Memphis!
