Picked up the game tuesday night and it definately is improved over the first one. I opted not to upgrade the equipment though, i mean, who needs wireless drums? really? the only real benefit was the cymbal attachment that are available. So far the game play is excellent and the song list is so much better. the ability to export songs over from the first disc made it an easy buy since now i can throw my RB1 disc up for sale on ebay. Thoughts? comments? wise remarks?
I better be getting the 2nd one soon. I ordered the drums, but don't expect them anytime soon. With how much one of my dogs chews up stuff, the less wires the better. Plus the quality is supposed to be superior, as well as the "hit sensitivity." I'll be trading my drums into the game shop or ebay whenever my new drums come in. And I too will be upgrading from the RB1 and selling it to make up some cost.
I got it last week when it leaked. I like it. We even created a band that will perform live. That's right people.
Apparently Blockbuster is giving $32 store credit for Rock Band 1. Rock Band 2 for $27.99 plus tax at Blockbuster w/ RB1 trade!! - SlickDeals.net Forums I'm headed there at halftime of the Akron game.
I'm gonna go check out the Blockbuster deal, that would be awesome. let me know if it works out for you.
I got $32 store credit. I would have bought RB2 there, had I not already ordered it online. I'm going to use the money for Fable 2 though probably.
