There are a lot of negative stereotypes out there about southerners. As someone who has spent most of my life in the south [before I moved to Maryland which is in some kind of strange in between the north and south limbo] I appreciate Andy Griffith for showing the rest of the country the good things about the south and its people through the talent he was given. RIP
