http://www.palmbeachpost.com/dolphins/content/sports/epaper/2007/11/27/1127ricky.html link says Ricky is out for the season. things couldnt of gone worst as they are already. man i was hoping ricky could help us this yr.
As I said something in my gut told me that hoping Ricky would be showcased and produce a draft pick for us this offseason was a long shot. When it rains it pours.
This really is the 'perfect' season. Ironically, Ricky getting hurt ended up having nothing to do with the extended time off, as many people rightfully were leery of. As for Booker, the reason he's not on the field IMO is because he's Reggie Bush Lite i.e. he's not good enough between the tackles. And he doesn't play special teams. Looks like they'll be forced to play him now and resign Gado.
Hey...look on the bright side.... The last few players to finally get a shot at playing time have come through pretty good.... Maybe this will be a blessing in disguise, and Booker will step up. Im hoping this is the case. Maybe all he needed was a chance, because he didnt play special teams.
LOL...or a second for AJ Feeley.... This might be a blessing in disguise. I personally hope that Lo-Book comes in and kicks some major bootay...one mans loss is another mans opportunity to shine
MY brother. Sooo good to see your stuff flying in here...hope all is good.... I thought about you last night. The baby had a really bad diaper...like the legends of which I once wrote LOL....
Aint that the truth... At least we can still hope for the development of Beck.... Thats really the only thing left to watch for other than maybe a victory.
This is the season from hell. On the upside he should be fine for next year right? Between him and Ronnie I think we are OK at RB as long as the docs approve of the way Ronnie is healing.... Even if Ricky has to handle a big part of the load for the first couple of weeks we would be OK IMO. It sucks badly for this year because nothing helps a young QB like a strong running game and with Ronnie and Ricky on IR and Chatman dinged up I don't know that he's going to have one. We are putting Beck in one hell of a position this year as far as the number of offensive tools he has to work with. Ginn is good but a growing rookie, Booker is up and down, our TE's have struggled with injuries and consistency, we traded our best receiver in Chambers, and who knows who our RB's will be for the rest of the year. Thank goodness the D has started to play well because we are going to be asking an awful lot from Mr Beck as a rookie.
Booker is a goner, he could not beat out a guy that ate himself out of the league, one that smoked himself out of the league and a practice squad player. maybe he just is not that good.
I dont buy that, Its just that he isnt an every down between the tackles kind of back. He may end up as a slot receiver but I very much doubt he will get cut after just one year.
So Lorenzo Booker is like our third round pick "Chipper". The handy golf club designed for those tweener predicaments, when your either staring down a long putt, or face the short, risky, chip shot to the hole, but ultimately serves to increase the overall weight of your golfbag, for fostering improved endurance, and strengthening back muscles for better posture.
It ain't looking good for LBook, he has not be activated all year on a team that is playing Patrick Cobbs and needs offensive playmakers....
That was your comeback, RW lovers. Wow....I'm super impressed. he got injured and fumbled?! NO way?! REALLY?! i really dislike this guy and, for all his Lenny Kravitz love, ducking on his responsibilities is coming back to bite him.
