I suspect Shanny would mold the offense in his image, and leave the Skins excellent defense alone. Interesting thing, Shanny and new GM Bruce Allen are both survivors of the Al Davis memorial insane asylum, apparently there were a package deal per Rotoworld. I hope they keep Jason Campbell who blossomed under Sherm Lewis the "ex bingo caller" according to the pundits, say what one will, he does know how to run a NFL offense, even without Clinton Portis.
Getting rid of Cerrato is the key here the guy's a tool. He's a friend of Snyder and thats the only reason he's kept that job so long. Its why they haven't been able to get a good coach there in ages and why other coaches can stay there. Allen is a good move too, if Shanahan doesn't work out they might be able to land Gruden if he wants to leave MNF in a couple of years.
The rumor is, Mike Shanahan told Washington that Bruce Allen is the only GM he would be willing to work with. If true, I think Mike will keep Sherm Lewis on staff, but it could get interesting if Gary Kubiak gets canned in Houston.
