Are we sure that Fin D isn't Incognito Sr? I really can't comprehend how anyone outside of immediate family could defend the indefensible. Scumbags gonna scumbag. Just like he's done his whole life.

edit: Fin D actually appears to be well-spoken and somewhat intelligent, so he obviously can't be Incognito Sr.

 

I'm not defending Incognito. I'm defending reasonable conclusions based on reasonable evidence.

- When it comes to bullying of Martin by Incognito:
The evidence clearly and overwhelmingly points to Ritchie being innocent. There's witnesses (essentially the entire team) that Incognito & Martin were very close friends that joked with each other in the manner that was in the voice mails. The voice mail transcripts were edited by Martin's camp as well. The Vegas Trip Money has been debunked by 2 other lineman.

- When it comes to bullying a staffer:
There's no evidence and its only mentioned once in one article and there is no specifics of any kind provided

- When it comes to the golf incident:
There's a tiny little bit of evidence but we've only heard one side

If i had to bet, I'd bet he was guilty of the golf incident (which would be enough for me to **** can him, btw), that the staffer thing was just joking around, and is innocent in the Martin stuff.

However, I don't see why I'm the crazy one because I'm not willing to accept all 3 things are true with little to no evidence and in the process hurt a whole lot of people's lives and the franchise that I've loved for decades.

 

I guess Ted Wells met with Jeff Ireland for over 2 hours. Supposedly it was by far Wells' longest interview with anyone in Miami.

People are saying that Wells' interview list is actually pretty short and focused.

 

I've been hearing the player interviews have been from 10-15 minutes

Nothing I have ever seen from Ireland leads me to believe that he would do well in this context.


Then again, I never understood how guys like Cameron or Philbin could do well in an interview for a Head Coaching position.....
