Well, they did talk about it a bit, Ireland said Wilford was a disappointment, Wilford shot back with 'I'm rich"... To me the reason they haven't cut him is strictly the money...and Ireland does not want to look like Al Davis, only Gibril Wilson was productive with the Raiders before he cut him..
Brandon London pretty much assumed some of the roles but because of his inexperience, the FO couldn't rely on him as much as they would a vet like Wilford. The FO likely (and finally) saw what I've been seeing in Wilford for several years. A very inconsistent WR who can't make the most of his gifted size which all boils down to lack of any consistent focus or personal drive whatsoever. Frankly, you might even be better off with Wilford sitting because he might even lead to a pick.
CUT HIM ...and then look at it like we are paying that money to our WR corps (spread out) since I am sure that Bess is getting paid minimum or close to it.
