I wouldn't hate this pick, we undeniably need a big play pass catcher. I'd much rather go for a Vincent Jackson or Brandon Marshall if we can though, freeing up the top of the draft for some front 7 players.
I wouldn't hate that pick. I would have a tough time thinking that he's the best prospect on the board at that spot but he's a good player and he'll have an instant impact on an NFL offense.
I wouldn't hate it but I'd be disappointed with it.... especially since there's a possibility of grabbing him in the 2nd round. I'd roll the dice and hope he's there in the 2nd (if we liked him) and if he isn't, oh well. Posted via Mobile Device
Well that's exactly what we don't know, whether there's a possibility of getting hin in the 2nd round. Not only is it too early to determine that but if they do take him at #18 I think it would be healthy to assume he wouldn't have been available 30 picks later. This front office has earned THAT much faith, at least.
What stands out most to me is that they've got us taking Von Miller in second round followed up by Toby Gerhart in round three.
I wasn't saying anything against our FO, CK. I'm giving them credit. Right now I don't see us reaching for him in the 1st IMO. He's neither here nor there for me right now. If he falls to the second round I'd be happy with him, but I won't cry if we pass on him in the 1st. Also depends where we pick, right? If we keep winning he becomes an unlikely 2nd rounder..... and at the same token if we end up in the #20+ draft range, I'd rather have Gresham or possibly Williams if I'm looking at offense. I'm not against Benn. He just has more proving to do IMO. If he does, then I'll be happy to adjust my impression. But like you say- there's still a lot of time to go. How awesome would it be to have total access to all the combine drills?!! Posted via Mobile Device
I wouldn't be against Miller. You? A 1st round talent DT falling into the second round is what I'm possibly hoping for, but my mind will probably change 10 times before D Day. LOL. Posted via Mobile Device
ed dickson in the third round? i thought he is higher touted than that....i know alen doesnt like him but i wouldnt mind him in the third round edit:jerry hughes at 63??
yeah. Holy cow on Hughes! If lasted that long, we'd have to trade our third up to nab him. Posted via Mobile Device
