alen1, that was not directed at you. Criticize away that is what makes this fun b/c at the end of the day we all know jack. My teammate at Maryland, Vernon Davis was one of the biggest combine warriors of all time and even though it saddens me to say he has not panned out well in San Francisco at all. I think dustin Keller will be another version of how the combine can sway GM's in the wrong way. Some people are just football players. Vontae Davis is that to me. I don't think he is on the board when we select anyways but I like him. My favorite player in this draft that I feel we have a realistic shot in getting is Clint Sintim. Just a natural at the outside-linebacker. If not him, I like BJ Raji. I understand that the ACC is going through a down-time right now but these guys are players. Aaron Curry has no chance of falling to hus but I do have a man crush on him. I think our best draft selection comes at #44 which we got from Washington. That pick has Larry English written all over it. In Round 1 I have no clue where we go. I am hopinh we pass on Brian Cushing. I think he is a product of a good team. A guy that I am really high on that some aren't is Rey Maualuga. I think the guy is a difference maker and the kind of a player that Parcells covets. I know he is a little reckless but the guy gives his all and can play.
I agree Vontae Davis will be long gone before we select. The guys who are possibilities for us are Brian Cushing, Clint Sintim, Larry English, BJ Raji, Peria Jerry and I hope Rey Maualuga
