So I'm in the act of re-lacing a baseball glove and I'm pretty much done, I just need to do the fingers and the sides of the thumb/pinky. I cannot figure out how the pattern for the thumb/pinky should go. I've tried a few ways to get it how it should look, but it doesn't wind up working. So if any of you know how to do this section, please help! I tried Photoshopping an image quick to show what it needs to look like. This is for the stitching on the thumb/pinky. There are four holes (obviously) that can go through one another. Thanks.
I did tons of these in my playing days. When you tie the thumb on the exterior, you are going to use a simple overhand knot at one end...you then dive into the first hole, and bring it out on the other side and finish with another simple overhand knot. Personally...I like to cut it at the center and then do a double noose at the center, it adds to the flexibility. This is the best tutorial: http://www.thesportsdoctor.com/Relacing Tips.html
