Surprising, Davis still had practice squad time left as well, the Browns seem to be jettisoning young players who they simply do not have the patience to develop. I would not mind seeing Davis land in Miami, he is a solid Rb prospect. In other news, the Texans waived Frank Okam, a highly thought of DT from Texas who just did not pan out for them.
Davis is a one cut and go back, which fits the mold here, but he's so one dimensional and injury prone. Being a north-south guy while simultaneously being injury prone is not a very good combo.
