Well, after yesterday's big win I'm a bit tired today, but this game is important to the Dolphins Wildcard chances, if the Ravens fall to 6-6 we will be tied with them and the Steelers and on the Jaguars heels for the last WC slot.

    Check out the Raven's inactives:

Reed and Suggs are cornerstones of the Ravens defense.

If Green Bay protects Rodgers, they should win this IMO. Baltimore's DB's struggle defending the deep ball so I think Jennings and/or Driver should have a nice night.

Well, maybe, it would seem you were "too' correct about Paul Kruger, he has filled in well for Suggs.

National stage, who knows, maybe Kruger blows up tonight and makes a ton of plays.

    Yeah, I agree Alen.
And, as much as the "Ice Princess" Brett Fayvree has over-shadowed Aaron Rodgers, I really like that kid.....especially at home on Monday night.

I think Rodgers is underrated. He's one helluva quarterback despite coming from Jeff Tedford's program lol. Tedford can coach up QB's amazingly but they suck at the next level. You know Tedford teaches his QB's with checkers?

Yep, checkers. He takes a checker board and lines up the offensive formation that he's game planned in one color and the defensive formation that he's watched on film in another. He is the defense and his quarterback is the offense, obviously. He adjusts his checkers kind of like pre-snap and requires his quarterback to read out what coverage he's showing, requires him to point out the blitzing linebacker, makes him call out the play, the snap count, his OL protections, the routes that are ran by his receivers and then tells him to snap the ball.

He said the reason he does this is because he doesn't want his Quarterbacks to just memorize the plays, he wants them to learn them and know them.

A bit random but here's a great (and a bit old) article on how Ozzie Newsome does things in Baltimore and how he finds great contributors in the Draft.

I liked Rodgers poise as farve was leaving GB. When he didn't really know what was going to happen.
    Sounded like an alright guy.

They keep showing the "Most yards from scrimmage" Stat and it is interesting to me that Ginn is not that far away from Adrian Peterson in total yards.

Ginn has around 1,250 or so.

Defensive struggle so far. I think a game like this should go to the home team, but we'll see.

Both teams look poor right now.

Clay Matthews Jr. looks like a veteran OLB.

He's got good hands, man. I really liked him coming out. Just hated that he didn't have a lot of work under his belt at USC.

Pack up 10-0...but this game is so sloppy that it may not mean very much.

BTW, Packer's Coach McCarthy is probably my least favorite NFL HC, imho he is a tool.

Hawk is more or less a 2 down Lb though Az.

Matthews is good enough that the Pack lost Aaron Kampman and they don't ever miss him.

Well A 25 yr Green Bay Packer employee was chatting with McJerk and said something along the lines of "no more stinkers Coach" and McCarthy had the guy fired.

Billicheat and Fat Bastard are kind of jerks but they aren't just firing employees because they poked fun at them...Fat Bastard would shoot some smack back and there are only Drones in New England, they are created in primordial goo underneath the Razor...

17-0 Packers!!!! Go cheeseheads. The "7th seed" is so close I can taste it. Dolphins-Jaguars is a playoff game I can't wait.

Oh and take that Cam Cameron.

If we beat Jacksonville, we'll be in the driver's seat.

In 2006, we had a chance to beat Jacksonville to get back in the playoff race in Miami and lost pretty handily--then again we did have Joey Harrington.

    love this blurb.
Still, Newsome’s first draft as the director of player personnel in 1996 may define his career. Convinced the Ravens could support a troubled player, Newsome was prepared to take running back Lawrence Phillips because the Ravens needed a rusher. But offensive tackle Jonathan Ogden fell into the Ravens’ lap at No. 4. Ogden was rated higher on the Ravens’ draft board, so they took him. Phillips, eventually taken sixth, washed out of the league after playing only 35 games. Ogden is a near lock to join Newsome in the Hall of Fame. The Ravens got Ray Lewis later in the first round, too.

As he prepares for next weekend’s draft with his reputation burnished, Newsome can afford to laugh at his early good fortune. “I might not be here if it had gone the other way,” he said.

its so true. part of this game is luck because noone bats 1000

Flacco is a bit nicked up right now.

He does see the whole field a bit better than Hennessey does at the moment.
