Yeah, I heard about him being impressive in the pre-season opener. I think that's big for him to jump Clemens. This has to be horrible for Clemens especially since only a year ago, fans were looking at him as the future of that team. Ratliff sounds like a good project though, I'm interested to see how he ends up.

Btw, love Clowney. Liked him since college. He was stuck in a logjam at the WR spot in Green Bay. Glad to see he's getting his chance even if it is with New York. I last heard that he jumped or was closing in on Stuckey on the depth chart. Is that true?

Actually I've been wanting to ask this and what better of a place to ask than in a thread started by a Jet fan.

The question I am wanting to ask is what has happend to Eric Ainge in NY. I liked him at Tennessee and he ran under the same pro style offense as Peyton Manning so I thought he would do well in the league.

Any updates there 124 or anyone else?

Erik Ainge is garbage. He is the worst Quarterback that I've ever seen at a Jets Training Camp. He is just so damn terrible. What will happen is either the Jets will put him on I.R. because of his stupid pinky (thats already healed but they can make something up I'm sure) or they'll cut him and then once he clears waivers because nobody will sign him, place him on the Practice Squad.

And if Favre werent a Jet the talk would all be about Ratliff & Clowney as they have both had outstanding camps, along with Kerry Rhodes, and proved it in the Cleveland game. Hopefully they keep it going against Washington on Saturday.

Ok he apparently sucks at this level then although I didn't see that. His pinky was trouble at UT but I guess it wasn't meant to be.

Thanks 124 for the info.

    No problem.

Infact I was going to look up Ainge's address in the phonebook so I can throw a grenade through his window. I really hate that piece of ****. I hated him in College and I hate him even more now.

Don't hate Tennessee, just hate Erik Ainge. Just has always been vastly over-rated in my mind and never did anything to impress me.

Makes no sense that I hate him as the two teams I've followed over the years have been Michigan and Auburn.

I liked him at UT. He was never that huge game winner but he was one of the better QBs we've had since Manning.
