Rams: Linehan confident in LT Pace The News The St. Louis Rams' existing situation at left tackle is dicey at best with Orlando Pace coming off shoulder surgery, but head coach Scott Linehan is confident that Pace will be ready for his 12th season, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. "Yeah, I am," Linehan said. "I should say I'm encouraged. First of all, he [Pace] had the injury in early September, so he's coming off seven months (of recovery and rehabilitation). And his work ethic has been outstanding about coming back. He's got a great attitude about it." As a result, Linehan is on thin ice this in 2008, and banking on Pace to play the full 16 game slate, might not be smart money. The Rams have reportedly narrowed down their first-round draft pick to offensive tackle Jake Long and defensive tackle Chris Long.
