One of the Dolphins two touchdown drives today, Tyreek Hill didn't see the field. But, don't let a narrative stop you
The narrative that Tyreek Hill is the best player on the field, and has had a long career of that, and had another massive performance today despite being double-teamed? OK. We can ignore reality.
Your post was double edged and you know exactly what you're doing. Problem is, most people are smart enough to know your agenda.
He got 146 out of the 325 yards. 10 people caught balls. But when you’re open throw it to him. If he didn’t you would say why aren’t they feeding the best receiver. BTW they won.
We can’t score against any defense that sniffs top 12-15. We need to find the reasons why. I don’t want to just chalk it up to “they are paid too”. We need to do a deep dive on the problem.
Yeah, you should. Just surprising how more teams don't shut him down, and focus on him like the Pats did. Need a better corner maybe. Sauce will be a good matchup.
It’s actually kinda simple. We shoot ourselves in the foot and I think McDaniel is the big issue against superior defenses.
Let me explain it. THEY’RE REALLY GOOD if they’re top 10. People now have tape. The O Line has been shuffled more times than a deck of cards at a $5 table. the question to ask is how are they getting it done in the face of all the adversity? This team is next man up. Just wish some of you would see that they’re resilient and find ways to get the win. We’d lose a game like this before.
Your #1 got the most looks. And your #2 receiver got the second most. Thanks captain obvious for pointing that out. That’s kinda how it works in the NFL.
There's a large gap between Hill and Waddle. The point is, you would think teams would take away Tyreek more, and they can't despite doubling.
You would think that since they’re double teaming Hill why isn’t Waddle getting more? That’s the most interesting thing to me.
Because Hill is still open. Offense runs through him. To shutdown Hill, I think you need a lock down corner AND you also need to double.
If they don't fumble twice and turn it over on downs in the redzone they cruise to 30+. This didn't look anything like the Chiefs game.
Aye, it does. Just like QB's throwing the odd interception but still leading the QB ratings. Just saying like...
The top 5 in QB ratings are Purdy, Tua, Prescott, Wilson, & Cousins. I'm sure if you asked people's top 5, that's what you would get back. LOL.
Damn that Kevin Harlan telling me it was Tua. And I fell for it as well. Grrrrrrrr, what do CBS know....?
Purdy was #1 since last week. His lead is now much greater after posting a perfect passer rating today (158.3). Purdy's season rating is 115.1 while Tua's is 106.0. We'll see how it ends though, 7 games can easily cause a 9 point difference. Either way, Tua is playing at elite levels.
Xavien Howard played like a badass too.. just locked his whole side and delivered some bone crushing tackles. when he is done he will be right there with Sam Madison as the best cornerbacks in dolphins history.
I wonder what it would have looked like if Ramsey wasn’t hurt at the beginning of the year. This defense just is getting better and better. The offense has enough to score. If the defense can play at this level too we have a chance. Let’s see how it goes down the stretch.
What are you talking about, Gase used to spam those cute little reciever screens all the time and it never worked, most people here hated it including myself.
True that. We’ve never been good at it. Props to them for keeping with it, but we haven’t been good at it. But Chosen is turning out to be a decent blocker.
I wonder if Ramsey coming back has lit a fire under X. He seems to be playing with a lot more intensity the last few weeks. He's been the top dog in the secondary for years so Ramsey coming back might have brought in a little friendly competition.
There was another that pasd that hit a defender right in the hands that he dropped. I didn't think Tua was particularly great today. I understand the oline is on life support, but we need to score points.
