I’m genuinely worried the offence will cost us more points against the Jets than the defence will give up.
I know our offense didn't do well today, but here are a few nice stats: Tua without Hill (rest of 1st half after Hill went out): 8 out of 8 for 98 yards and 1 TD = 157.3 rating. Hill now has 1222 total receiving yards. Needs 107 per game to have the most ever, but that's over 17 games. Over 16 games he needs 124 per game.
Team would have probably lost to Jimmy G. Can this team put a complete performance against the Jets on the road? I'm Doubtful.
Win but not impressive. Need to pick up for next 2 games out of Hard Rock. Glad of the win, but annoying that Phins beat 2 bet coupons, lol, -8.5 win and also a mostert td away, meh. FD
I looked at the stats after the game as well and was quite surprised. I guess because they showed us the greatest offense for some time that we expect better then today.
Yeah McDaniel gets a bit too cute sometimes. It's a mistake he can easily correct. I'd like to see him learn on this one.
Thankfully we won't need a complete performance against the Jets to win, as they have no offense. But we really cannot afford those crucial turnovers like today. We let the Raiders back into the game with unforced errors too many times.
How many years did we beg for a cute offensive play caller that did something different than running up the gut?
Yeah, but not on 3rd and 1. And McD does it repeatedly. Just run it. We should be able to get 1 yard for freaking sake.
Who do we want to lose today Jills or Jest? For me it’s the Jest cause the Jills got a tough schedule ahead of them and the sooner the Jest are gone the better…
The Dolphins offense was quite rusty today but I recall the offense being rusty last year following the bye against the Texans as well. I think we’ll be ok against the Jets on Black Friday…and I also agree Tua needs to get rid of the corn rolls. Those braids must be pulling at his brain
Some of you bemoaning the "poor" offense performance need to realize this team played the number 8 passing D with the last 2 Guards on the team.. let me repeat the last 2 Guards on the team. Do you think that maybe just maybe that might hinder things a bit? And we still put up over 400 yds of offense.
We scored 20 points against a defense that on average allowed 20.5 points per game prior to today. The offense wasn't "bad" per se, but it was bad compared to where our offense has been thus far. We were putting up on average 31.7 points per game prior to this. I'm not worried, but today's win goes more to the defense than offense.
Oh heck, I forgot about that. So it's Jets week, turkey week, black friday chaos, and Hard Knocks premiere! Best week ever!
Rodgers is running the team and is the reason they didn't give any veterans a shot. Hackett isn't going anywhere. He was part of the deal.
