    On the Carter tryout:

Phew! I almost thought that we were going to sign him. I don't want him here.

    On team impressing Sparano

Glad to hear. Hopefully we can keep it this way.

On practice and who stood out:

Love Charlie Anderson. He was a great addition to this team after coming from Houston. Glad to hear the others stood out as well and that they are taking it serious despite it only being practice lol.

    On Langford:

He's very flexible and a pretty versatile player along the line. I like him a lot. Also a HUGE guy who stands at 6'6 and 287 pounds. I can't wait to see him and Merling in action as they both have been impressive in TC. Merling has been batting down balls.

Kendall Langford will hopefully become our Chris Canty. I'm expecting big things from him.

Over a possibly healthy Yeremiah Bell, Will Allen or Vonnie Holliday? I think it will be either of the three.

I hope so to sir. He sure matches up pretty well size/weight wise.

    J. Peele's problem is he makes more money then a back up Te normally would, David Martin works cheap, but they both might not make it and we go with Sean Ryan and Fasano...

Jayson Ferguson will be the Defensive MVP for us.

This makes three. I really think Porter is going to excell in this defense BIG TIME:up:

I think we will have three TE's on the roster. According to blogs, they have had 2 TE sets out there on some plays. I think if they choose to keep a third, it will be Martin because they say he has improved his blocking and is cheaper.

If he stays healthy, then possibly.

Intersting. There was talking that Chris Crocker may be out as well. We have six total safeties on the roster. Four are likely to make the roster, with two at each position imo. Hill, Davis, Crocker, Bryan, Bell and Allen. My guess is that the ones that make it are Allen, Davis, Bell and Crocker. If Hill indeed is running with the third team, I think he's gone. He's coming off an ACL injury as well so that probably won't help his chances.

Makes sense to me. As soon as Taylor was traded, I mention is a few threads that I think this opens the door for Porter to be the leader, perhaps even the face, of the defense and I hope he kicks the door in. I think this defense is going to really let him do more of the things he does well. He believe that this sytem will allow him to make plays, and I think he will. We all know he is going to be "talkative" to put it nicely. I think many of the younger guys will feed off of his attitude, and will begin perform. I really think we will see marked improvment in our defense.

    Can I get an amen.

Yea bro if these guys can translate what they learned in trianing camp to on the field we should have some good rookies and a solid defensive line.
