I have an INSIGNIA 51" Plasma. Its Best Buy's own internal brand. Very very happy with it after about 3+ years.
Think I played about 1100 for it back then....might be worth looking into brother.

To be honest Nappy 120hz isn't really worth the extra money unless you watch a lot of Blu-Rays.

I bought this TV from Best Buy a couple months ago and its been great. Its a 40" 1080p but not a name brand (although through some research some have suggested LG makes it but that's a huge rumor):

    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Dynex%26%23174%3B+-+40%22+Class+/+1080p+/+60Hz+/+LCD+HDTV/9364742.p?id=1218091959536&skuId=9364742&st=dynex

    Here's the 42" model:
    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Dynex%26%23174%3B+-+42%22+Class+/+1080p+/+60Hz+/+LCD+HDTV/9144295.p?id=1218035133352&skuId=9144295&st=dynex%2042&cp=1&lp=1

The 40" is $550 and the 42" $600. Also if you use bing cashback you could get about $25 knocked off the total price. However if you can get a 120Hz for around the same price it may be the better deal.

Its a decent deal Nappy but if you have a PS3 or 360 you already have an up-converting DVD player so there is no need for a separate one and HDMI cables can be bought for literally a couple bucks online.

Also man check out: slickdeals.net and simply search for HDTVs if there aren't any deals on the main page. They have some great deals there from time to time.

I ended up with a 37" 1080p 60hrz Visio for $520 after taxes. They had a 42" for around $610, I figured I didn't want to pay another $90-100 for another 5 inches. Specially since this one is going in the living room and the TV that's going in my "football" room is gonna be closer to 50". That's where my PS3 will be as well.
