When (be honest now) will the real FinHeaven be back? I really don't even care if it is not soon, I'd prefer just to know. If it won't be back until February 2009, then just say so, so we will know. Thank you.
Please be patient. The staff is working on the issue as we speak. We are trying to retrieve 7 years worth of info. Also in case you may have forgotten the site is managed by volunteers, that see this as a labor of love, and all of us have full time jobs. We have this and the chat room to use until it is up and running. As soon as we know we will let the family know. Why the negativity bro?

The site will be better then before with new servers to be able to handle the peaks, and the growth that we have experienced at Finheaven. Sorry if it sounds like I have a negative attitude, I really don't. I understand how difficult it must be trying to restore the site and I appreciate everyone's effort. However, I just wish there was a realistic target date instead of just waiting and waiting. Is it days, weeks or months? Again, sorry for the negative sounding post.
Brother we have some great computer guru's on the staff. One just sold his home, moved to a new town, and is starting a new business, another is seeking a life long dream to get his PHD, and in between his down time got the phin chat, and this awesome forum as a temporary fix, and we have another that his very busy with his career along with traveling for his company. This staff, and Owner has an awesome amount of love for Finheaven, and it's membership. We appreciate each and every one of you. As soon as we can get back up, we will be up. We just want to make sure that Finheaven never has to go down again like we are now. Thanks for Keeping the Faith!
i understand the frustration, believe me. but having spent more than two years behind the scenes at fh, i can tell you that these are some of the best people around, and their dedication to this site is unwavering. as john said, though, these are all volunteers and the task of bringing the site back online apparently is a daunting one. i'm sure that it is as frustrating for them to have limited time to work on it as it is to sense impatience and not be able to do anything about it. as sure as i am that they are all working as much as they possibly can to get our community back for all of us.
