My 2 fav nfl teams Denver and Miami. While I like trading Orton from Denver to see if Tebow has it or not. It bummed me to hear Miami was interested in Orton. He is a great teammate and did decent in Denver but, the thing that I hated from Orton is how many times he went down easily when guys were near him and barely touched him. It might work ok with BM but, imo he isn't lights out better then Henne. He fades as season goes on. Miami and Denver game will be interesting.
In case you missed the latest Orton news on NFL network, here's the link. Although Orton isn't my top choice for the Dolphins, I am excited about him coming in Miami because he clearly understands what the Beast can do when you feed him the football. He is by far our greatest playmaker and we must get him the ball. He should be a significant part of every gameplan. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-network-total-access/09000d5d8210614d/Orton-swimming-with-the-Dolphins
If you can get Orton fora 3rd or better a cond 4th that can be a 3rd as reported in other thread, you have to be dumb not to. I am a Henne supporter but you cant say he has proven anything yet so when the opportunity comes at that price for a qb that doesnt turn it over nearly as much and while has his own issues is proven that he can win, you have to provide that competition. If henne sulks at the comp then he isnt the qb you want, he sjould have a bring it on attitude and believe he will win the competition. That is the mentally tough young qb you want. Sparano, Ireland the team and the fans cant afford to lose big so they haveto hedge their bets, Orton is the best bet IMO especially at the 3rd or better price
