Why doesn't it come with anything? I open mine up and I get a system, a plug, and a standard AV cable.

    That's terrible, Sony.

No component cable? No HDMI? No headset? I buy a system for $400 and I can't play it on my HDTV because it looks like PS2?

Do I have to spend $80 on a HDMI cable now? This is horrible.

XBOX 360 came with EVERYTHING you needed.

Dont buy hdmi cables from bestbuy or circuit city. They are WAAAAY over priced.

    Great prices - http://www.monoprice.com/home/index.asp

If you need one quick, radio shack has good prices on cables. Oh, and I agree that the accessories packed in the PS3 sucks.

I find this odd as well, especialy now that Sony is actully making money on each console sale. I mean come on, its a 1080P blue ray player, you know everyone that buys it is going to want HD.

And if you bought it in bulk it would probably add what? Two or three bucks a unit to Sonys cost?

Man, it's just a terrible job by them. I was extremely disappointed when I opened it up today.

What is RGB Full Range and Super-White HDMI? Should they be on?

If your TV supports them, yes. Basically, turn them on.... If it looks better, keep it. If not, turn it off :)

Saves you from spending hours in your TV manual.
