I'm really happy with my linebackers so it would have to be a fair trade, I'd only be willing to move one and it would be for secondary help or a runningback. Pettigrew can be moved, as I dont use the type of TE he is most effectively. Also the only reason I'd move Stafford is...in my offense I need a guy with a very very quick release, and his is just a tad too slow for me. Though I've been playing well as him regardless.
thats the only kind to make.....who makes UNFAIR trades??? Dont get rid of Stafford (although I will trade you Quinn for him), he is your future. And dont move CJ either (although will trade you Braylon if you want)....
The thing is...the offense I run, I can plug any receiver in with decent speed and get the same results. Though obviously it would have to be a blockbuster deal. Same with Stafford.
Reed had a nice season. Lewis is very important to my d. I wouldn't get rid of Ngata, he is awesome! Still not as good as Price. He had 20 sacks. :P
Since the season's not over, let;s say hypothetically that a player under contract with a certain team played DE and was rated in the 90s. Does anyone hypothetically think there could be a also unnamed Free Safety rated similarly (or slightly lower with a draft pick thrown in) who could possibly be traded once the season is officially over? Hypothetically.
I need a speed back, and probably wouldnt do a 1 for 1 trade, seeing as how I throw the ball far more than I run it. Just looking to add some balance to the team.
Anyone want a first round pick for a very high rated Free or Strong Safety? I'd also consider doing it for a very high rated corner.
I have Antone Smith, speed in the 90's too, though not overall. Wouldn't want much for him, as he's not a true #1 back, but more of a by-committee guy or playing a part guy with some speed rushing.
Whats his overall? And speed exactly? I might be willing to part with a pick or something minor. A role player for role player trade.
Bummer, I would, but my safety's are in the high 70's....both are young though.....I might do one of my safety's with my 2nd to get your 1st and say 5th???
BPK.....from Vikes....I like your D side Allen, K. Williams, Greenway....maybe we can work something?? on O side... Loadholt, Harvin, or Rice????
On a side note, I pitched my first All-Madden shutout in '10 ever. As the Phins in Franchise mode. Taking away from this...it was a preseason game. I'm the kind of player that wins 35-28 or like 56-24, high scoring games. It felt good winning 35-0
I am open to any and all moves....what are you thinking? Looking at your roster, probably O side help from KC.....or pick, etc??? Or package DJ with another to get a combo back, etc....
Any interest in John Abraham? He's a 95 overall, but I don;t need him since I have both Williamses and Jared Allen. I prefer Allen to Abraham for my style of play. I'd consider moving Rice. I hardly use him. His physicality is the same in online franchise, but his ratings aren;t as good as they ought to have been. I think he's in the 70's somewhere. Anyways, I don;t use him. If you;re interested then make me any kinda offer. I may be able to move Loadholt. Again, make me an offer. Either picks or players. I'm most interested in Safeties, CBs and OLBs. Harvin, Williams and Greenway I need... for now.
Harvin is unbelievable in the game. 14 Receiving TDs, probably a half dozen return TDs, over a thousand yards receiving, prolly 2000 all-purpose yards... all in his rookie season with an A potential rating. His ratings will be MUCH higher next season due to max progression. You'd have to give me a lot to get Harvin. The guy is effin SICK.
I already have safeties in the 70's. I'm looking to upgrade. Sorry, bud. See my other post in case you can work one of my other proposed deals.
Yeah, Corey might work. He's a 90 overall, I see. I'd consider doing Abraham and my 4th round pick for Webster and your 3rd round pick. could you use a 95 DE? I could also tell you what he would rate if played at OLB if you want. If that doesn't suit you, tell me what you had in mind. B. p.s. - we should start lining up a day/time to play our game. How about Sunday night after the real-life Vikings-Saints game ends around 10:30pm Eastern? We can always push it later in the week back if things haven;t advanced yet.
Oh, his overall is horrendous, yet his ratings still make him effective for user-controlled Madden. 92 SPD (Speed) 49 STR (Strength) 93 AGI (Agility) 94 ACC (Acceleration) 30 AWR (Awareness) 50 TRK (Trucking) 85 ELU (Elusiveness) 76 BCV (Ball Carrier Vision) 52 SFA (Stiff Arm) 81 SPM (Spin Move) 85 JKM (Juke Move) 65 CAR (Carrying) 70 CTH (Catching) 66 RTE (Route Running) 65 CIT (Catch in Traffic) 60 SPC (Spectacular Catch) 65 RLS (Release) 78 JMP (Jumping) Surprisingly (to me) his overall is only 64. He managed to average about 5.5 yards per carry on limited carries (most effective to the outside, or cutting back in) and some special teams tackles on kickoffs (gets down there fast). Surprisingly clutch, converting a key 4th down, a game-tying TD and a game-winning TD last week. So, yeah, he's got some value to me, though not huge. Who do you have in return? Whddaya got that could be of use?
My third and Webster for Abraham and your fourth? Looking like a great deal man. My answer right now is yes. We'll see when the Off season starts. Sunday night at 10:30isnt good for me man, sorry. Can we play today or tomorrow?
Yeah, I wanna see what the offseason brings too. Sounds like we may end up making that deal. I wish I could find out if Favre was retiring... wait a sec.. this is JUST like real life!!!!! lol. Today and tomorrow don;t work 'cuz Amenart still has to play his game before we advance to our game.
Bowe and Charles for Jackson and 3rd. Or Bowe & Albert for Jackson and 4th. Or Bowe & Waters for Jackson and 5th.
Hey Finssincebirth... I'd also be curious about getting Bowe or Albert (more so Boew). Would do it either just for picks, or if there are players on the vikings roster who interest you, for picks and players. I'm open to suggestions of what you'd want. I see Bowe fitting in well here as my #2 receiver. Albert would be a slight upgrade at RT for me, which is less critical but still useful.
Alex, you use Detroit, right? Wondering if you'd consider moving Ernie Sims for a 1st. Then you can spend it on any position you want.
In real life, I might consider it. However its hard because we dont know what kind of players are available via draft.
LOL. Sorry about the brainfart on the name. Couldn't recall because I haven't played against you as the Lions. LOL. I changed my original post to make you feel special, though, Alex. Anyways, I figure you might prefer a 1st round talent somewhere else, like HB, or Cornerback or something. Really, you'll get flexibility getting to choose the position. I do know THIS much about the draft... they took all the guesswork out of it this year because we will see full player ratings BEFORE we decide on who to pick. So you'll be able to compare an 87 OVR QB to an 86 OVR CB and decide which to take, for example. Makes draft picks less of a crapshoot and I guess that was EA's intention. Personally I think it makes it too damned easy for people. I'd rather have to be a good scout to reap draft rewards. Anyways, if ya wanna swap your LB for my 1st lemme know. Alex. lol.
