With Miami I would work Ricky pretty hard and use Sheets speed on some plays to give Ricky a breather and keep it different. Speaking of which, looks like I have Miami this week. When I picked Jacksonville they were 4-7 and figured no shot at playoffs this season, if I win out though and either Ten/Hou lose some looks like I'd have a shot at the last wildcard spot. Wait.. um one game at a time and all that jazz.

Getting the INTs under control seems to be everyone's issue the first while. Once you get control of your passing game and eliminate turnovers, you'll be balling.
ive notcied.....my passing game turned around when i stopped dropping back so far and stayed in the pocket....i used to immediatley snap the ball and drop back like 10 yards then scramble to the right or left.....i either got sacked or forced bs throws.....get those under control and its easy.
Toward the end of the game I tried to stick in the pocket a little more. What you described above is what helped me to get down 14-0 before I tried to make a comeback. Oh and I absolutely hate that fight for the fumble crap.

EA said they put an emphasis on making 'the pocket' a bigger part of passing. I guess it worked. I'll have to practice that.
I used to rollout a lot and staying in the pocket has helped, but Matt Cassel just can't throw the deep ball to save his life.

Don't feel bad, I lost to Miami by three this week. I think I did what a lot of teams do and underestimated the Phins lol, probably wasn't the best time to try new playbooks either but figured it was just the CPU and I'd be fine. It was tough with original rosters because I had Ronnie and Ricky doing their thing, then I had Pennington hitting every pass. Fasano was really killing me and their offense was just hard to stop.
I don't know, Cassel isn't the bad but he isn't garbage either. As long as I stay in his abilities I do well. Plus he has room to grow. With that said, if your looking for a young Qb with potential Brodie Croyle and Tyler Thigpen are on the market.
Last night I played my Madden league game and the CPU completed a 35 yard pass on me. I was about to get SO pissed off when it said "Catch by Chris Henry"... and instead i just felt sad.

So, I'm curious... how do you even DO a draft in online franchise? Is there a way to do it? I know you can start an online league with a fantasy draft, but in all of my reading up on the EA website I can;t find anything about doing a normal 'franchise' draft at the end of an online season. Wanna know whether I should be thinking about draft picks or just free agents?
