Ps2 ?

i had a box big ps2.....i gotta slim....so much better.....i suggest trading in the huge one and trying to get a slim....or saving up for a ps3 (which i am getting friday WOOT WOOT!)

 

Madden freezes up on my Wii every once in a while, moreso with the 08 version. I don't remember it happening on a frequent basis with my PS2.

 

I can offer some advice but it will be rather long and descriptive. However if you still want to know just tell me and I'll make a post.

 

That was my rudimentary theory. Often it would freeze up after I had been playing for a long time, especially if I was doing a lot of simulating.

 

So it's just Madden correct? No other games? If so have you tried cleaning the game with some alcohol and a soft cloth in circular motions? Also if its scratched use the same soft cloth and circular method but use furniture cleaner like Pledge to fill in the scratches somewhat. Both of those methods should work if its game specific if not I can go much more detailed on this.

I sort of became a PS2 repair technician after the experience I had with my first PS2.

 

Try a dvd and see if it works. Usually they will unless the PS2 is really bad off.

Also it could just be your PS2 controller and the only way you can test that is another controller which I am guessing you don't have or would have tried it.

Also PS1 can cause problems in themselves so be aware, just controlling things itself.
