Our Sack leaders were : Randy Starks 2 ( 1 in the 3rd Quarter Week1 and 1 in the 1st Quarter Week 4) Ninkovich 2 (Both in the 4th Quarter of Game 3 and Game 4) Wright 1 ( Week 1 3rd Quarter ) Ferguson 1 ( Week 1 1st Quarter, 1st Play of Tampa Bays Offense) Roth 1 ( Week 2 2nd Quarter ) Holiday 1 (Week 3 1st Quarter) Porter 1 ( Week 3 1st Quarter) Crowder 1 (Week 3 2nd Quarter) Merling 1 (Week 3 4th Quarter ) Anderson 1 (Week 4 2nd Quarter) Dotson 1 (Week 4 4th Quarter) Glymph 1 (Week 4 4th Quarter)
Interesting breakdown bro, I was smiling over our numbers yesterday but wondered what they "really" meant. Sooo .. only about six of the sacks came against first teamers right? the first and second quarters.. the others wouldn't mean as much. Anyway, thanks for the breakdown, I had wondered how it shook out and you answered my questions.
Yeah, doesn't inspire visions of the Purple People Eaters, but encouraging nonetheless, considering we've lost our two best defenders this offseason... The scheme will (or needs to), if it going to be successful, put pressure on the QB...may not be all sacks, but will make whoever it is uncomfortable back there...Those 6 were all by major contributors/starters... No matter what, it's going to be a fun year in Dolphinland this year, I can feel it...it may not be the glory days we've seen in the past [just yet], but it'll be fun...
