Pray for Haiti

These poor people have suffered so much for so long, yet despite all the poverty and unrest are some of the kindest and hardest working people I have ever met. My sincere condolences and prayers to the victims and survivors of this tragedy.

There are a large number of college/university/seminary mission groups on trips in Haiti right know. We have been getting reports of the devastation and it is horrific. My prayers are with those folks.

My prayers continue. The son of one of our former Bishops was killed while attending a conference there. The RC Archbishop, about 100 priests, and every church building in the diocese of Port-O-Prince has been killed/destroyed.
