Anyone feeling good on any of these: Albert Haynesworth Marvin Harrison Bart Scott/Ray Lewis T.J. Houshmandzadeh Also, I wouldn't make the trade but I heard someone suggesting a trade for Anquan Boldin. Just type in the initials and then yes or no. Format: AH-Yes MH-No. Any other suggestions of free agents are welcome.
Welcome to the site. Hayesworth is a no, Harrison is a no, Bart Scott is a yes, Ray Lewis is a no and T.J. Houshmanzadeh is a no. JMHO.
Bart Scott? Definitely! The rest? Nah.. Ray Lewis and Joey Porter, I don't think it'd work out. Housh is too old, IMO... And Haynesworth? I don't think he's worth the money he's asking...
I would take Scott and pass on the rest. I want Brian Robiskie in the draft who is basically a younger Howsyomamma
Nice to know you think that for another certain league. Haynesworth yes because he would be great in the middle and the only other one would be Bart Scott who would really fill the hole left by Channing Crowder not with the team at the moment.
Bart Scott....yes! But before Bart Scott we need to nab Jason Brown. He should be our first priority in Free Agency. Our O-line would instantly be one of the best in the NFL.
Scott and Leonard are going to the Jets. The Jets re-did some contracts along Farve retiring they are 37 million or so under the cap now.
It's looking more and more like that's what they're gearing up to do, doesn't it? With the wholesale cuts they've made, it's as if Ryan is trying to bring all his Fas over from the Ravens. I wonder if he's also planning on trying to lure Lewis. While they'll most likely have a pretty scary defense, they still won't have a QB
Bart Scott yes, everyone else "No". Haynsworth is gonna be way too expensive, he is seeing dollar signs dancing in his head. He would be a nice pickup but bad for the salary cap.
Niether did Baltimore and they made it pretty far. Flaco didn't get them deep in the playoffs, their D was the reason.
Welcome Brother... I'd say no to everyone on that list except for Scott. Harrison and Lewis are older than what this regime is looking for. Besides it's not just one position that we need filled, you know, that one veteran to put us over the top...we have more holes to fill. TJ is an interesting player, but he is 31 and as a WR he's probably on the backside of his career as well. And I still have a question about whether or not he's more of a product of having Ocho-Cinco on the other side and a fantastic QB. Don't get me wrong, he's pretty good, but where would he be without those other guys...and given that, is he worth the huge contract he'd want ?? Haynesworth is the top DT in the league right now, but my concern with him is that he's not really a 34 NT, which is where we need him. We don't need a DE with the young guys that we have and Holliday. He would have a tough time standing up in the middle like Fergy does now. We do need to look at a guy to rotate in with Fergy or Soliai needs to step up, but you don't bring in a Haynesworth to rotate in and Fergy is better at the position, as we need than Fat Albert....there are some nagging questions about his tenure with Tenn as well, but that won't be enough to stop someone from paying him... Now, Bart Scott is fine with me. There are some concerns as to whether he's a product of Reed, Ray-Ray, Suggs, Ngata, etc but he's a better ILB than Crowder no matter how you look at it. I also would pee myself if we signed Jason Brown (C) from Baltimore. I can see us taking a flyer on one of the younger CBs out there, be that Bodden, Foxworth, Bartel or McFadden. Bartel is my favorite of the group, but with it now looking like Goody is gone, we'll need someone to either push a rookie we draft or play in place while a rookie learns the ropes at CB. At Safety, there are a couple of prospects there (G. Wilson and J. Sanders) but nothing noteworthy now that Atogwe is locked in... I guess the wonderful/horrible thing is we have so many holes to fill, there will be a lot of signings, IMO, but they won't all be the big names...if I had to settle on one big one, I'd take Brown..that allows us to solidify the OL for the next 4-6 yrs and possibly allow for a trade of Satele to get another draft pick...
