now onto why no love for Camarillo. Dude didnt drop a pass last year, doesnt have speed but all the other attributes I like in my wr: 1-gets open 2- catches the ball

Camarillo is an excellent but very slow receiver
we have another excellent but slow receiver in Bess
the quality speed in the ReceivingCorp
    resides in Hartline & Rice-Mullen
got to stretch the field to allow Marshall to open up underneath
& allow Henne to hit the one-on-one deep targets
taking advantage of his deep passing ability
we should carry five WR's, in which case Cam would stick

totally agree, I guess its just that I dont see Hartline doing that I see him as a slightly faster less polished version of Camarillo. And I havent seen enough of GRM or whatever his name is

Hartline is very fast & illusive after catching the ball
he has excellent hands & acrobatic ability in the air
he is the next rising star
& will be an excellent compliment Marshall immediately

Cam is not that slow. he's not a burner, but he was still fast enough to keep ahead of the Ravens in that OT win.

Fun to project, but I don't see Tsoumpas and RGM before CAM (this season anyway). RGM's best shot is returner with some occasional spot duty at WR

    1) these guys (Dmitri & RGM) are already proven commodities as they step into the NFL for their debut. accolades, honors, top players in the Canadian league, bonified stars.
take a look @ some highlight clips on what they can do. might shed a new light on the subject. it is fun to project.

    2) Cam is slow to mediocre, his speed is documented. having said that, he knows how to get open w/his knowledge of the game & quickness. Camarillo has excellent hands. I like the guy. for the old timers, he reminds me of Raymond Berry of the Baltimore Colts
    however
basically, the same could be said about Devone Bess & we could compare him favorably to Wes Welker.
think about it. we need to stretch the field

    nothing ventured, nothing gained
the end for Dimitri @ LG

Proven in the CFL is not the same as a proven commodity for NFL. While I agree, it's fun to project, you're assuming too much here.

Yep,I'll say it. Hope this isn't the case.I don't want to cringe when he gets hit.I don't need to hold in my poop when he goes to pass. And I don't want to speculate if he's going to be "a" quarterback in the NFL.I don't care if he bought Michael Jackson's white glove to pass with.I want him to succeed but not in the QB capacity.

On a side note,Ronnie will lock down the WC lead roll and with a (predicted to be much better, Henne) manning the QB spot.Pat will only & briefly be in for a few plays.Might be nice if he can play ST.I agree with that part.

Let the trashing begin in 3...2....1.....NOW !

    some speculation & idle banter
while we await the moment can be entertaining,
while awaiting, in great anticipation, what will emerge

Anderson will start over Wake. Andersons the better linebacker (right now) on 1st and 2nd down.

I see it the other way. Bess over Cam and RGM any day of the week. Bess did lead our team in catches last year with 76.
