They wont trade michael Huff for Joey porter straight up Huff is much better then porter at this point in there careers and porter doesnt fit in that system very well

    Thank you Friend Muck.
    however
I do think there is a real possibility
of acquiring McFadden in trade with either or both
Porter & GinnJr. just an opinion, just another post.

Anything we could get for Porter would be a bonus, because we're going to cut him March 1.

Darren McFadden won't be much better than he already is IMO. I didn't like him coming into the league and I still don't see him being anything more than a third-down back. He's just built wrong for the position.

I'd argue that Pat Cobbs is a superior player to McFadden. I think DMC would have struggled just to be active last year in Miami.

Trading for Darren McFadden would be dumber than giving Ted Ginn a $80million contract extension.

You can agree to a trade prior and work with the player to alter the contract to facilitate a deal.

We did the former when dealing for A.J. Feeley in Feb. 2004. And there are many examples of guys pushing back roster bonus dates when teams are working on a trade.

That said, all I see is 'release' in Porter's future.

At this point ANY draft pick we might get for Porter is a plus.

i would rather have McFadden then give ginn 80 million dollars.

Nice Sig it would be nice to have those players the only thing is im not as high on Dexter Mccluster as other people though i think when he is in the NFL he is going to be a role player and drafting a role player in the second round would be a mistake IMO

there is an outside chance that this could be in the making (& the guy is no third down back either). he would be our future in the running back stable, while making an immediate impact on our game in 2010. would like to see Darren McFadden run behind the Orca-5...his talent is undeniable & he presents the total package.
