Would we get rid of Ayodele if we weren't closed to signing Dansby? I think we'd at least wait... unless he was due some huge roster bonus.
"Good luck" to Ayodele, "goodbye, don't let the door hit you where nature split you" to Wilson," and "good riddance" to the thuggish whining team cancer.
Jesus God this place has gone asbsolutely ape balls today have a riot tear down the walls dump all the dumpy linebackers and re-load where is the crowder has been cut thread joey and akin bye bye
Seriously we could play with 10 men on passing downs and be better off then having GERBIL on the field!
Ayodele blows. Good riddance to him, Porter, and Wilson. I can only hope to hear the words "Dolphins have released WR/KR Ted Ginn Jr." as well.
Yep it's official........ http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/Wilson-Dolphins-cut-Porter-Wilson-Ayodele.html With Wilson, Porter and Ayodele gone it frees up the roster for some serious talent influx. I would like them to add Pennignton, Taylor and Bell to the mix as well. This is the best defensive draft in a decade and this is well played by the Tuna gang.
WAAHOOO... Here it is again!! http://www.miamidolphins.com/news/d...rter-and-wilson-dansby-makes-free-agent-visit I wonder if Torbor, and Crowder will be next?? I see a major overhaul in the works. I can't wait until draft day!!!!
I see the official website wasted no time in removing in them from the roster! http://www.miamidolphins.com/team/roster
Nate Jones will sign in Denver, that makes Will Allen at least the new nickel back, with Jason Allen in the mix if he is retained.
i hate to lose nate jones young talented nickel but if will is there not too hateful i guess as long as the fix is on with the linebacker position at least the d has some hope I'm sure you agree pod...
Will Allen is good player, and imho the reason why Jones is not returning to Miami, and quitely Jason Allen has improved alot as well. When Vontae left the second Patsies game, we put Allen into the game and they tried to target him and JA ate Moss up like catfish at a Friday fish fry..
I remember it well, also remember you saying will allen could still be a key in the secondary I'm not writing off JA either he could stick
Jason Allen has come alooong way from the days when Saban and Cam Cameron would not play him...period...don't know if he will stay in Miami, I do think the switch to Cb and allowing him to play on ST really helped him out.
Will Allen, if he's healthy, is going to end up relegating Sean Smith to backup. Jason Allen is likely our new nickel, given the job he did in erasing Wes Welker.
Can I just say how happy I don't have to see SLOW Akin covering a WR or TE looking like he is towing an anchor?!?!? Or better yet watching Popcorn look like a statue with broken ankles when that stiff Fitzpatrick blew by him!
agree man no way do you let a third string qb run for a 31 yd touchdown that was the story of the 2009 defense
I wish I would have known Popcorn was going to be on NFL NEtwork during the Superbowl week I would have shown up with a projector and just had that play on rerun!
Sean Smith needs to sit down and study for a season, because his stiff hips cost the team a lot of yards. Unless you're prepared to constantly have whoever is our free safety over top to assist Smith?
we all knew about his stiff hips when he was drafted i like his chances working on that i still think his height is a value yeah he needs to be more physical he will remain as a starting corner still imo
The problem is stiff hips isn't something you work on, it's part of a person's innate athleticism. He has to find ways to compensate for that and the best way to do so is to study your opponents so much you can anticipate what they're doing by small physical cues.
I dunno KP. DD may have a point. I started the season thinking Smith was superior to Davis. But, by mid season I knew I was wrong. By the three quarter mark of the season I was really questioning the Smith pick altogether. Dude would just let guys run right by him without even trying to lay the wood to 'em. Only time will tell, but a healthy Will Allen does nothing but help our secondary IMO. Who knows...maybe Smith will be converted back to WR before it's all said and done? You never know bro...you just never know.
