Until someone breaks it you're going to keep hearing about it. So enjoy. On top of that, don't even try to tell me that Jet fans still to this day don't talk about Joe Namath like he was the greatest thing since sliced bread. I hear it all the time and it makes me chuckle. Fans always talk about and admire the accomplishments in their teams history.
Honestly though even if they did, the fact that would make them some sort of "team of villains" like the media try's to portray is laughable. It's their accomplishment and if they wanted to pop champagne and have a party every year it's their right to do so. Like many have said here, whatever celebration they do has always been kept private. It's always the media running them down trying to squeeze comments out of them.
Declaration of independence occurred more than 200 years before I was born, but I still celebrate it. Just saying
