Is there a way I can stop these from showing up in my new threads?

"A man's suffering is similar to the behavior of gas. If a certain quantity of gas is pumped into an empty chamber, it will fill the chamber completely and evenly, no matter how big the chamber. Thus, suffering completely fills the human soul and conscious mind, no matter whether the suffering great or little. Therefore, the "size" of human suffering is absolutely relative." - Viktor Frankl

I don't like the political forum, politics or political discussion.

is there any way I can stop them from showing up in my "new threads" search?

ahhhh, thanks, NOW I get it.. and I understand to.. the quality of our pofo has fallen beyond sight this election, and the tit for tat threads are kinna embarrassing. It will take at least an admin, perhaps Muck or Celtkin, our webmasters who have all the v-bullitan buttons. Be patient, one will jump in here and give it a go..

No, not really. There is a chance that if I ban you from POFO that you will not see the new threads. We can give that a shot if you'd like.

EDIT:Muck already did what I suggested. :)

That happened already and it worked, thank you.

meanwhile, some of us are suddenly banned from the PoFo who never asked to be, never insulted anyone in particular, and received no notification or warning as to why they no longer have access to said forum... FH, TP... history repeats... if a warning was issued in some thread, it's kinda hard to view it when you have no access to the forum in question...

now, i understand some people would prefer that my anti-Bush sentiment were silenced altogether, as was the case on another forum, but it would be respectful and accountable if that moderator would explain what it was in particular that resulted in such a decision... especially considering i never addressed anyone... is a private message too much to ask when you abruptly censor a poster from a forum with no warning?

i'm going to simply assume that merely posting a video showing Sarah Palin taking a literal interpretation of the Bible was offensive to someone...

Your ban from POFO at FH was permanent and, for the sake of keeping POFO at least somewhat civilized, that ban was enacted here.

The Mods here -- the same ones that were at FH during your tenure in POFO, were quite happy when the complaints from POFO were cut in half after the ban.

Great... in the meantime, before I'm banned for merely asking about it, can you PM me the post whereby I somehow was "uncivil" here?

Speaking of the POFO, I know some people objected to the Ann Coulter ad, I think this one is just as bad. Can we get rid of crap like this?

Bro, the ads are served by Google Adsense. We don't control specific content of the ads.

First off, you don't try to call out a fellow admin in the middle of the site. A pm would have been a classy move, and the results would have probably been a lot better.
