Regardless of the outcome, you were still off base when you threw in the towel in the second quarter.

You should know by now (after being made to look bad in the past) that giving up in the second quarter when a team is down by a score is not the way to go.

 

The defense has kept this team in games and their secret has been that they don't give up points in the red zone.

There is a reason why we turned to the "wildcat".

 

Well in the offseason I say a big time WR should be on the list as well as some more O-Line depth and getting depth for the defense as well. I know a comeback is possible but I just want to say what an amazing season it has been getting to the playoffs and winning the AFC East and I bet the Jets or Pats would be in our same situation right now as the Ravens are a really good overall team. Next year I can see a deep playoff run and I expected a loss today anyway. I was just thrilled to make the playoffs and anything else would be gravy. A very successful year better than anyone expected and it shows we still have some work to do but I truly believe this is a perennial playoff team. Remember the positives of this season and all the joy this team has given us, and don't turn on them now.

What I understood is that we are going to HEAR people talking crap all offseason long ....again...about how it was a fluke or whatever and we are only going to be an 8-8 team (or worse) due to the tougher schedule.

I don't like how we are playing but the people dumping on our regular season are garbage. I'm sorry but the division had 3 teams that would have made the playoffs most years and we were 11-5, we beat good teams and played great down the stretch. It wasn't a fluke and we deserved it. We are playing horribly but don't dump on this team, this coaching staff when they are down. I know people are frustrated but I'm proud of what this team did this year regardless of how this turns out.

 

You don't read very carefully. I said "all we're going to HEAR all offseason is that we were a fluke and we're going to take a step back."

 

We've reaped great mileage over the season with some conventional talent playing above themselves.
Its to be expected a team like the Ravens is gonna expose some of this .

Our offense has largely struggled to put up points against mediocre Ds for a good while now. Not sure why people expected them to explode today.
With the injuries to the OL and WR, and some needed upgrades, its just been really really tough. Definately need some work, but we have a good start. Anyone who thought 11-5 and a playoff game at the end of last season found Rickys stash, and yet here we are.
