Clemson DE Phillip Merling will reportedly hold a private Pro Day on April 24. Putting it that close to the draft is a high-risk, high-reward move for Merling. He does need to show he's healthy after having sports hernia surgery in mid-March. Merling will have only had about seven weeks of recovery time.
